Kurgan smirked and nodded at Warik, thanking him and letting him know to keep his foot right where it was. Kurgan kneeled next to the Orc's face. He took off his glass gauntlets and looked him in the eyes.
"I don't want to get these any more dirty than what they are." Kurgan told the Orc, with an arrogant look on his face. "Alright lets try this the easy way, why did your gang attack my family in Morrowind?" The Orc scoffed and turned away from Kurgan. "Hm. I thought your answer would be along those lines, Warik if you would be so kind as to..." Kurgan nodded towards Warik. Warik began to put his body weight on his one foot that was resting on the Orc's balls.
"RAAAAAAAAAAA! STOP!" The Orc cried out, "WE WERE HIRED!" Kurgan nodded at Warik.
"Now we are getting somewhere, who hired you?"
"I'm not entirely-"
"Warik..." Kurgan said while nodding to him again.
Warik applied a lot more pressure this time. "AAAAAAH! I SAID I DO NOT KNOW!"
Kurgan held up his hand to stop Warik. The Orc smirked at Kurgan when he did so. Kurgan grabbed a hold of one of the Orc's teeth that where projecting out of his mouth.
"Why do i have this suspicion you are lying." As he said that, Kurgan pulled out the Orc's tooth and stabbed it into the Orc's hand. "NOW TELL ME! WHO HIRED YOU!"
The Orc let out a painful cry, "It was Hlaalu! HOUSE HLAALU!'
Kurgan glared at the Orc and snatched out the tooth. "Was it the Dren?"
"Yes, he hired us to sabotage the house Telvanni. We didn't know who they where or why, we just acted. We are mercenaries, we do anything we can for septims."
"We? You speak as though there are more of your gang."
"There are, when Vvardenfell fell, and Morrowind was attacked, the duke hired us to protect him and take him somewhere safe."
Kurgan punched the Orc in the stomach, fist clinched with rage, "YOU MEAN THAT FETCHER IS STILL ALIVE!"
"As to my knowledge yes, but he might have died on his way through Cyrodiil-"
"CYRODIIL! Where in Cryodiil was he heading? TELL ME NOW!" Kurgan was holding the Orc by his collar at this point, screaming into his face.
"Listen, all i know is where they where stopping a couple days ago, they might still be there. Most likely they will still be there, Dren is a very lazy and impatient person. He tends to stay in one spot for a long time."
"Where....tell me where." Kurgan was easing the Orc's head back to the ground.
"I only know the name of the fortress they stopped at. It is called Fort Istirus. I am honest when i say i do not know where it lies."
"Hmpf." Kurgan scoffed as he released his grip on the Orc and raised to his feet, grabbing his gauntlents and putting them on. "Warik, you can remove your foot now. As for you Orc, i am finished with my questions." Kurgan bent down and lifted the Orc and untied him. "Find the fort, and tell that bastard of a dunmer that the Telvanni "SPY" is coming for him." The Orc, unbound, did not flinch when Kurgan told him his orders. "I know you are neither deaf nor too stupid to understand what i just said." Kurgan pulled back and punched the Orc in the face with a mighty blow. "GO!" The Orc turned back his head towards Kurgan, spat blood at his feet, and began to walk off. "So now we just wait for Itun correct my barbarian friend?"

Warik had listened attentively through the interrogation, and as the Orc left the two men standing by the mine, he turned to Kurgan.
"I would have killed him. But I like your style, why not let them know we are coming? Surely they will tremble, knowing that not just a Red-eye, but also a barbaric Nord are on the way to deliver justice." Warik laughed, then let himself take a seat on the ground. He put his back up to a tree, and stayed quiet for a few moments as he enjoyed the night time sounds of nature.
"Yes, friend, we wait for Itun. I know him well enough to know he will not take too long, and he will have supplies for our little quest. And, the gods willing, some ale. Shor knows I need some ale." Warik then patted his stomach, almost as an after thought. "And some food, I guess." He chuckled a bit, then reached into a pouch on the belt at his waist, drawing out a small pipe and tobacco wrapped in paper. He prepped the pipe, then lit it with some flint from the same pouch. He took a long draw from the pipe, letting the fragrant smoke drift around him. He then turned his attention back to Kurgan.
"You know, I just realized I left all of my belongings in Cheydinhal. Even my cloak. I certainly hope this job of Itun's goes over without a hitch...I'm going to need the pay." Warik laughed a bit, then inhaled once again. As he began to speak, the azure smoke seeped from the edges of his mouth, casting an almost otherworldly look to his face. "You know, that place the Orc spoke of? I bet Itun know where it is. One of the side effects of being a mage, he's filled with a lot of typically useless information." Warik laughed, the offered the pipe to the Dunmer.

*It took Itun a little less than an hour to get to the mines that he had sent Warik and Kurgan too. He was unsure if the two had made it to the mines ok, btu was quickly reasured as the Orc that they had captured exited the mines boarded up door. Itun watched him as he strolled off, looking a little weary. Itun wondered what they had done to him but shook the thought from his head as he approched the door. Swinging the door open, the first person in view was the dunmer. His scowl returned to his face, but then was dismissed with a look at Warik. "Why havn't you two lit a fire yet. How are we supposed to eat without a fire?" Itun went and sat on a cut off stalagtite and pulled his pack off. He opened the top of it and reached into it. With astonishment, his arm completely dissapeared into the bag without reaching the bottom. "Damn, where the hell did it go. AH, here it is. Warik i stopped by your place on my way out. I just kinda grabbed anything you might need. If i missed something i can go back and get it."
At that he pulled out a giant cloak that buldege the rim of the bag as he pulled it out. Itun threw it to Warik and continued to rummage threw his pack. He produced a couple of small pink vials and threw one to Warik. He looked at Kurgan and with a sigh, he threw one to him to. "You too need those. They'll help with any minor wounds and with exaustion." He placed the Pack down at his feet and looked at Kurgan. "Look here Dunmer, i do wish to apologize for the reaction i had when you burst into the bar back in the town. But you had no right to bounce in there and start demanding things. I have a real problem with incolense, and even more so from you kind." WIth that Itun placed his arms on his legs and looked at Warik. "So what is the desision on our journey to the Aylied Ruins?"*

Kurgan happily accepted the pipe Warik had offered him, "Thanks friend, this will help me relax a bit." As Kurgan took a draw on the pipe, he saw the Itun appear in the doorway of the mines. Kurgan felt a deep hatred inside, but then remembered Warik's words, so he controlled it. He listened as Itun spoke to them and asked about a fire. Kurgan looked to his side to see a pile of wood and hit the pile of wood with a weak fireball. The logs caught fire as Itun continued to speak to the two of them. Kurgan watched as Itun tossed Warik's cloak to him and continued digging in his bag. "Well Warik, you have your cloak back now," Kurgan placed his left hand on the Nord's shoulder while holding the pipe in his right, "All is not lost huh?" Kurgan smiled at Warik, and tried to keep the gesture towards Itun. Kurgan listened as Itun tossed him a vail, and appologised for his reaction. Kurgan was surprised to hear this response, and it made him a little more acceptant towards Itun. "I would like to appologise as well Argonian. My actions back in Cheydinhal where disgraceful. Warik was right from the beginning, it had been a long day for us all." Kurgan was saying as he stood up, still pulling the pipe back from his lips. "I am sure you have your reasons for not liking my kind as i do yours, but maybe we can look past the differences. I am aware that the time has passed for proper introductions but...I feel like i can be more friendly towards you if i knew your name." Kurgan extended his left hand while offering the pipe to Itun in his right hand, "My name is Kurgan Othan, born in the House Telvanni, Magister of the House Telvanni."

Warik stood, throwing the cloak over his shoulder's as he headed for the fire. As he passed Kurgan, he snatched his pipe from the Dunmer's hand. "Alright, Red-eye, I want it back now." He sat down at the fire, and beckoned the others to join him. He stared into the fire for a moment, admiring the dance of the flames, as he puffed out more of the bluish smoke. He then turned to Itun.
"Of course I'm going with you, my friend. Even if you weren't paying. You know how I love a good adventure." Warik smiled, then continued. "On that note, have you ever heard of Fort Istirus? That Orc told us we could find some of Kurgan's old friends there." Warik smirked, staring back into the flames.
"I think when we are done with this Imperial job, I'm going to accompany our new friend here to pay a visit to them. Those Orcs in Cheydinhal were such pleasant company, I'm looking forward to meeting the rest of them...I hope I make a good impression on them. Many impressions. Deep, bloody impressions, if you catch my drift." Warik grinned then, the flames dancing in the reflection of his eyes making him seem almost maniacal.

*Itun grasped the Dunmers hand and gave it a quick shake as Warik snatched his pipe back. "Itun-Ru, Warlock and ranking mage at the Cheydinhal Mages guild." He let go of his hand and grabbed his pack again. Sticking his arm down deep as Warik talked, he pulled out several wrapped packages and three bottles. He threw one package to each of them keept one for himself. He unwrapped it to reveal a red piece of raw meat. the smell was putrid and reminded most of a sewer. Itun bit down into the meat and ripped of a huge chunk of it. As he chewed, he thought about the fort. "No cant say that i have, and thats saying alot seeing as how ive been traveling all over Cyridill for almost 120 years. As for the Orcs, ill make you a deal dunmer, you acompany me and Warik to the alyied ruins, and ill help you our at Fort Wathamacallit." Noticing the face they made over the smell of his dinner, he chuckled "Oh and dont worry about the packages. Ya'lls are venison i had frozen in the basement of the guild. Mines rat meat." with that, he looked down and bit down and took another huge chunk out of the meat.*

Kurgan walked over to sit next to Warik at the fire. He sat down, cross-legged and looked into the fire. As Itun tossed a package towards Kurgan, he looked up to grab it. The package was dripping with blood, and was soft. Kurgan unwrapped it to see a nice slab on venison. Kurgan nodded at Itun in gratitude and levitated it up so it could cook on the fire. Kurgan listened to Warik and Itun talk about the mission Itun had. As warik asked about the fortress, Kurgan looked up in hopes Itun would know where it was. He shrugged when Itun denied knowing of anything by the name, and Kurgan went back to looking at the fire. Kurgan closed his eyes and kept the venison floating. Kurgan decided to practice a spell type he hasn't in a long time, and he began to levitate. Kurgan was suspended in mid air, between the cave ceilings and the floor. Kurgan looked down and noticed his meat was cooked. He lifted the venison up towards him and took a bite out of it as he continued to stay suspended in the air.

Warik had frowned a bit, wondering at what the next step would be to finding the Fort. When he caught Itun's thrown dinner, he sat his pipe to the side, and quickly looked around for a stick. Once he found one, he speared the venison and began to hold it over the fire. As he watched it cook, he glanced over at the now levitating Kurgan. "Show off..." he muttered, with a slight smile on his face. When his food finished, he began to eat, enjoying the silence that went along with the meal. When he finished, he yawned, then looked over to Itun.
"Well friend, what is the plan? What do you know about this ruin? I must confess, I've never found myself in an Ayleid ruin. I'd like to know what we may be facing, so I can prepare."
Warik glanced to the floating elf, then crumpled up the empty wrapper from the venison and tossed it, watching it bounce off Kurgan's ear. At Kurgan's slightly startled look, Warik grinned. "Pay attention, Red-eye. We all need to plan this out. I need this pay, and I want to do this right. If the big men in the Imperial City need a Warlock of the Guild to retrieve this weapon, we must be facing more than a couple rats." He turned his gaze back to the Argonian. "So what do you know, Itun?"

*Itun watched as the paper ball hit the elf and then bounce near his feet. he gave it a kick into the fire and swallowed his mouth full of his dinner. "Well your right, it wont just be a couple of rats. Mostly undead. But the real danger is whats at the end, the thing we're after is gaurded by one or two liches that turned themselves over 400 years ago. Theyre extremly powerful. The council sent three master-wizard's to the ruins and we never heard from them algain. " Itun watched the fire and begin to think back on the plan. "The only difference between them and us going is we have this...." Itun reached around and pulled out his pack. He reached his arm down into the bag and ruffled around. He wrapped his hands around the object he was looking for and smiled. He lifted the object out of the bag and showed it to his companions. The flame lights flickered through the giant gem that he had in his hand. 5 giant black crystals exsploding from the base of a chizled black base. "This took me 10 years to track down once the Arch-Mage told me about it. It once belonged to Arch-Mage......god what was his name.....oh well i cant remember right now, but that not important. He once used it to fight back a Necromancer with the power of the Arch-Mage before him inside the gem. The gem shoudl shield us from the any dark effects that the liches in the ruins might have set." He placed the gem back into the bag and went back to eating his dinner. "Other than that, its a pretty straight forward plan, kill EVERYTHING that gets in our way, find the liches, get rid of them, and then get the scr.....i mean treasure back to Cheydinhall in time for the team of Legion Solders to take it back to white gold tower. Any questions?" he watched them both as he devoured the last two bites of his meal.*

Kurgarn's eyes opened sharply as the paper hit the tip of his ear, and watched it roll towards Itun. Kurgan levitated down and sat next to the fire listening to Itun speak about the mission to Warik. As Kurgan finished the last bit of his venison, Itun asked the two if they had any questions. Kurgan looked up at Itun, "Not to be rude, but if the mages guild sent three master-wizards that never came back, why did they put the opperation on you to complete yourself? I am not doubting your abilities Itun, I just think it is completely idiotic to send one Warlock, when three master-wizards could not make it out alive?" Kurgan stood up and begun weaving a little fire and lighting spell. "This is why the mages guild makes no sense to me. 'Oh lets send one person when three people died in this area.'" Kurgan said mockingly. "'Hmm why that is a brilliant idea arch-mage!' Then you head into the ruins by yourself and you face a lot more than you can handle, then-" Kurgan blasts the wall next to him,"BOOM! The mages guild is down an important member. Once again Itun i am not doubting your skill as a mage, i have seen first hand what you can do. Although i have a suspicion that what I witnessed was not the full extent of your powers." Kurgan paused and down at the fire, then returned his eyes to Itun. "Also, you stuttered at the end of your sentence. You are not being completely honest with neither me nor Warik...What are we after exactly, if i am risking my life i believe i have a right to know why."

As Warik listened to Kurgan's words, he rummaged through his bag and retrieved a whetstone. He then took his sword off of his back, drawing it from his sheath. As he began to slowly sharpen the blade, he continued to listen intently to the Elf. When Kurgan finished his speech, Warik looked to Itun, smiling a bit.
"He does bring up a good point, Itun. It does seem like a suicide mission. However.." Warik grinned almost menacingly as he continued, "Those mages who went before did not have a stubborn lizard magic man, nor a shiny-armored flame wielding Red Eye blade dancer. And they most certainly did not have a mighty, fearless, semi-psychotic barbarian at their backs. I have no worries that we can handle this task. Though I'm curious to what your black stone is going to do for us that Cassandra can't." He tapped his sword as he spoke.
"I do think Kurgan is right, though...you do seem to be forgetting to mention some details, Itun. Know that regardless of what you may be hiding, I will still be accompanying you. I'm in this for the adventure. Death is just a stepping stone to Sovngarde." Warik then grinned at Itun. "If you get me killed, friend, you'd be doing me a favor. No more paying for drink, no more paying for food, plenty of combat, even more variety of wenches, and all in the enjoyable company of my drunken warrior God." Warik laughed as he turned his attention back to Cassandra. "Listen to me, all excited to go die. Shor knows I have problems. Well, Itun, what the plan?"

*Itun smirked at Kurgan as he finished his retort. "Like i said Red Eyes, they didnt have the black soul gem that we will have. That, and im one of the longest living mages in the guild and have my own intents for the Aylied ruins. The mages guild is fully aware of my obsesion for the destruction of the black wood company and the information on my mother. I have leads pointing me to a camp just near the ruins. That ill have to check out on my own free time. As for the treasure...." Itun paused for a few moments. He reached out to the fire and touched the flames. The flames wrapped his hands in licks of bright red flames making his scales gleam in the dancing light. The destruction spell formed in his palm and he held it there fro a few seconds. "The treasure is one of the last remaining Elder Scrolls left outside of White Gold Tower. It was held in the library section of the ruins by the last King of the Ruins. The only reason the Scroll is still in the ruins is because there is an enchantment on it that will cause any thing that touch to fall under a terrrible curse. All we know is that an inscription in some old documents read "The test of time will double upon the touch of the Scroll." as he finished the tale, the flame in his hand died and his face became shadowed again. He looked at Warik and smiled "I dont plan on letting you die my friend, and as for the plan, when we get to the library and we kill the Lich's i will need to place the scroll in my satchel where it cant hurt anyone. With the dark elf comming with us, we can take advantage of his abilities in levitation to handle the scroll. then we'll have to get out of the ruins and back here to the mines. When the gaurds show up, they will have our payment and i will give them the scroll." Itun sighed, his long winded speach and the long day had taken alot out of him and would soon need to rest for the day ahead.*

Kurgan's attention appeared as a snap when Itun spoke of another Elder Scroll.
"Wait a second, what did you just say? Another Elder Scroll?? This is amazing! It was understood that all of them where given to the Emperor by the Aedra themselves! Is this one unread? Undiscovered? Think of how much we could learn from it...I wonder if this one will strike the reader with blindness as well..." Kurgan started walking over to the cave wall, put a leg on it and leaned against it. "Maybe it doesn't...Maybe the Aedra placed it there for us to find!" Kurgan shot off the wall in a rush of excitement. "Thats it Warik! Itun! They knew of this day! The Aedra knew of us! It must be for us to read!" Kurgan exclaimed as his hands where on both Itun's and Warik's shoulder. "My friends, we are about to make a grand discovery. Who knows what could be written in that scroll. Who knows what it could say about us...about this world...about our future..." Kurgan turned to Itun and looked straight in his eyes, " Look Itun, what ever will happen in this cave just know this..." Kurgan drew his blade in a flash and pointed it at the wall, " What ever un-dead, rotting flesh, grotesque fuck comes at you..." Kurgan put his left hand back on Irun's shoulder. " I will have your back my friend, and same to you my friendly cave barbarian, who has an insationable love for bringing death."

Warik listened to Itun's speech, his interest only slightly peaked at the mention of an Elder Scroll. When Kurgan began his rant, however, Warik stopped sharpening his sword. He stared at Kurgan, surprised by the Dunmer's sudden excitement. He slowly sheathed his sword, then placed the whetstone back in his bag. When Kurgan finished, Warik continued to stare, then suddenly burst into laughter. He noticed his two friends puzzled looks, and slowly started to bring his laughter under control.
"Well now, the Dunmer is alive! Calm down Kurgan. I think you are getting ahead of yourself. I doubt the scroll has anything to say about the three of us. Besides, no one can read it but those monks. You know, the monks of..something..." Warik tried to remember. "Bug Monks, I think. Yes, Bug Monks. I don't know about you, but killing would be harder if I lost my sight." Warik then grabbed his bag, propping it up near the fire as he laid down, resting his head on it.
"Well gentlemen, I believe we have a plan. Let's get some rest, and then we can head on our little quest. I need to sleep before I kill. It's a cycle. Drink, eat, sleep, kill. Not always in that order. But usually." Warik closed his eyes. "Good night, friends."

*Itun watched as the dark elf began to get over excited about the scroll. "Look the scroll wont have anything to do with us. We wont have a chance to read it anyways because its sealed by the curse. So theres no need in getting excited about the contents of the scroll. But i agree with Warik, we need to get some rest before even think about attempting this ficade. So i would suggest that you get some sleep Kurgan." Itun reached into his bag and pulled out a mat roll. He rolled it out infront of the fire and sat down. He closed his eyes and rekaxed his muscles. He let himself slip into a meditaitive state where he contemplated the events to come and what they would need to do before they were ready.*

Kurgan shrugged as the two tried to kill any speculation that the scroll was for them. "I can not believe you two think the Aedra don't have something to with this." Kurgan sighed heavily and walked over to the fire. He sat down across from Itun and stared into the fire. He knew they where right about one thing, sleep. It had been a really tiring day for Kurgan. His attention was fully on the dancing of the flames, as he slowly driffted into sleep.
At the first sight of the sun, a ray of light shined through a crack in the door straight into Kurgan's eye. He grumbled and stood up, the first one to awaken from the nights slumber. He walked over to Warik. Kurgan watched as Warik was muttering with a stern face and starting to slightly swing his fists. Kurgan smiled and sighed "Even in dreams you are a mighty warrior my friend." Kurgan bent down and nudged Warik back into consciousness. "Stand up, there you go, you where dreaming...what's your name?"

Warik was deep in his sleep, dreaming vividly of a battle like no other. He stood on a great field, staring at the approach of a mighty army. Elven men, Aldmeri, shining in the sunlight as they brandished their weapons, charged towards Warik. He stood in a line of Nord men, and as the charge sounded, he ran to battle. As the two armies locked in bloody combat, Warik moved quickly, slaying all who came in his path. The Nordic blood lust was upon him, and no enemy could face him. Suddenly he found himself surrounded. He was stunned to find his sword broken, and in a fury he fell upon the enemy with his fists. He began to tire, and found himself losing ground as the Elves closed in. Suddenly, he saw a warrior approach, almost levitating. The warrior was a Nord, and he emanated a golden brilliance that caused the enemies to stumble back in fear. Warik's heart was elated, for he knew this to be the God-King Shor, come to slay the Aldmeri and rescue his Nord brethren. He watched Shor approach, saw the God's mouth move, though he couldn't make out the words. Suddenly, the God-King pointed at Warik and began to laugh. To Warik's astonishment, all of the Aldmeri warrior's did the same, laughing so hard that they dropped their weapons. Warik looked down at himself, and to his horror, discovered he was naked. He screamed with rage.
Slowly, he felt himself awaken, and he stared blankly at Kurgan. He could still hear the laughter ringing in his ears. He sat up, growling a bit as he stretched.
"My name is Warik, Red-Eye. What kind of foolish question was that?" He tried to shake the anger of his dream, though he found his temper spoiled by the absurd dream. He picked up a small pebble, then threw it. He watched it bounce off of Itun's head. "Wake up, Itun" he growled as he climbed to his feet. Warik grabbed his sword, belting the scabbard to the back of his leather armor. He grabbed his bag and threw it on his shoulder as he turned to Kurgan.
"Let's get out of this damn cave quickly, Kurgan. I really, really want to kill something." Warik then stepped out of the cave, staring up at the morning sky as he waited for his companions. He began to mutter. "Fuckin' Aldmeri. I would have killed them all, nude or not."

*Ituns dreams swirled around him like a pool of warmth as he saw his familie small farm in the heart of black marsh. His fathe, his brother, and the smiling face of his other standing besides they're home. Suddenly they're faces grew cold and the vision turned grey. One by one they disappeared until he was alone. He wondered the land lookig and searching for them but found himself alone. Finally e came across a glowing orb. It was so beautiful that itun couldn't help but reach for it. When he touched it he found himself sucked into a dark world of fire an unimaginable creatures that were surrounding him on all sides. There was no way out, itun would die. Suddenly there was a voice as rough and harsh as a hailstorm of fire and brimstone. "your corpes will lie in oblivion forever!!!" the creatures rushed him and h readie himself. There was a small thump and everything went black. He opened his eyes and relize he was back in the cave. He adjusted the slits of his eyes and stood to greet his cave mates. "alright well if everyones ready to go, well head out."itun turned to the door grabbing his pack an began to head outside.*
